Scallop & Bacon Pizza

Serves 2-3

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough
  • 1 cup marinara sauce,
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 lb bacon, cooked, chopped
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella , shredded
  • 1 ½ cups Parmesan , grated
  • 6 large scallops , cut into quarters or eighths, depending on size

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °.
  2. Dust a pizza stone or pizza cooking pan with cornmeal or flour.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough into a large circle. Roll the edges inward to create a ridge around the p izza. Place the pizza dough on the pizza stone.
  4. In a small bowl, stir together the marinara sauce and the sour cream until it is combined . Spread the sauce evenly over the pizza . Evenly sprinkle the bacon over the sauce. Next evenly divide the cheeses over the pizza. Top the cheese with the scallops .
  5. Bake the pizza until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbling, about 16 minutes .
