Hot Spinach & Artichoke Dip

Serves 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen spinach, thawed , chopped
  • 1 ½ cups frozen artichoke hearts, thawed , chopped
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °.
  2. In a medium pot bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Add spinach and artichokes and cook for 1 minute. Drain and return to pot.
  3. Heat cream cheese in microwave for 1 minute or until soft.
  4. Add cream cheese and remaining ingredients to pot and stir.
  5. Place mixture in an oven proof serving dish and bake in oven until hot, about 10 minutes.
  6. Serve with any combination of bread, crackers, or vegetables.

Notes

  • Hollowing out a large round piece of bread and using that as a serving vessel and using the hollowed out bread to dip makes a nice display.
