Caesar Grilled Asparagus

Ingredients

Asparagus

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Caesar Dressing

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For Serving

  • Additional shaved or grated Parmesan
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions

1. Prep the Asparagus

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

2. Grill

  • Place asparagus directly on the grill grates.
  • Grill for 6–10 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and lightly charred.

3. Make the Caesar Dressing

  • In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and Parmesan.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Toss and Serve

  • Transfer grilled asparagus to a serving platter.
  • Drizzle with Caesar dressing and toss lightly.
  • Top with extra Parmesan and serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add anchovy paste (½ tsp) to the dressing.
  • Use a grill basket if your asparagus spears are thin.
  • Best served immediately while warm and slightly crisp.
